Funny acting website? Read this:
Only a couple of days ago I decided to go ahead with my plans of switching to a different - and, hopefully more reliable - hosting provider. The migration appears to have been almost successful, in that all the data and the settings were correctly transferred, with just a down note regarding the attached pictures. It still may be just a matter of latency, but I shall certainly look into the problem.
I’ve also just learned that WP 2.6 is out… That’s great news, though it’s been only two days since I installed WP 2.5.1. Sometimes I really wish they gave me a little breathing space between updates.
All in all, I’m on a trial period with my new hosting provider and looking forward to noticing the improvements they promised they would deliver: speed, up-time, security.

I had to do some maintenance work on the database and restore it back to utf-8, that aspect being concluded now.
