Well, technically it’s about tweaking Vicuna theme for WP and the difficulties one might encounter when trying to make use of an application with support in foreign language.

Part of the joys of having a PC is the occasional troubleshooting one has to go through. Hardware, software, drivers, sometimes they all seem to conspire against you in making it a pain in the rear to find and apply a solution to your incidental usability problem. Luckily, there’s the Internet to scour for answers.

What’s in a name? A lot. Then what’s in a composed name? Apparently, a lot more.
This post is about the name of a small place in a northern ward of Kyoto, the place we call home (at least for the time being).

Time to put aside the doubts, and move forward. The winner blogging platform turned out to be WordPress. It’s more intuitive and simple at its core for my publishing and editing needs.

A six-part account of my first attempts to sort through the many CMSs available, and how I finally settled for WordPress (and Joomla!, though I mainly use this in a development environment, for far larger projects).
